Empowerment through Creative Platforms
At Collective Perspectives (CP), we believe that creativity is a universal language, one that transcends boundaries and enables everyone — regardless of ability — to express their unique perspectives. We provide transformative opportunities for persons living with disabilities (PwDs) to showcase their artistic and entrepreneurial talents, whether through live performances, exhibitions, or digital content creation. Our goal is to give PwDs the platforms they deserve, highlighting their capabilities, celebrating their work, and fostering a more inclusive society.
By championing these creative talents, CP helps reshape perceptions, encouraging others to see disability not as a limitation, but as an alternate form of strength, resilience, and artistic expression. Below are some inspiring examples of the work we do:
Stephanie’s Poetry Recital with Mr & Mrs Tharman

In 2023, Stephanie, a poet with a disability, had the incredible honour of performing a poetry recital alongside Singapore’s President, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and Mrs. Tharman at the prestigious President’s Star Charity event. The poem, taken from her collection “Shades”, resonated deeply with the audience, as it explored themes of resilience, self-expression, and the nuanced experience of living with a disability. By sharing her work on this platform, Stephanie not only demonstrated her artistic talent but also illuminated the power of poetry to foster empathy and understanding. The collaboration with such prominent figures highlighted the importance of creating spaces where PwDs can voice their narratives, thus broadening the conversation about disability in the arts.
Collaboration Between Belin, Eugene Soh, and Raymond Lau

In an inspiring collaboration, as one of the key highlights for DARE Festival 2023, the renowned Spanish artist Belin joined forces with Eugene Soh and Raymond Lau, two talented PwD artists from Singapore, to co-create a unique masterpiece entitled “DARE To Be Ourselves” (mixed medium on canvas 3m x 2m). Eugene and Raymond brought their unique perspectives and skills to the table, working alongside Belin to create an eye-catching artwork that combines urban aesthetics with emotional depth. This collaboration showcased not just their individual talents, but also the immense creative potential that emerges when PwD artists are given the opportunity to work with international figures. By facilitating such partnerships, CP is demonstrating that creativity thrives in inclusivity, and that disability is no barrier to producing world-class art.
